Which Interface do I need ? |
|
Each Asset Tracking Tool (ATT) solution
is made up of a Software Interface which extracts data from an
organisation's asset database or asset register,
and assists the transfer of
data to a hand held bar code scanning device.
It will depend on which system you use for
your financial records as to which Software Interface
you may require.
TIG International can assist you in selecting the correct
Software Interface.

SAP
The Asset Tracking Tool interfaces seamlessly with SAP R/3 versions
3.0d through to SAP ECC 6.0, SAP All-In-One, and mySAP ERP
systems. Based on TIG International's BAPI
Certified Interface technology using Remote Function Call (RFC)
to communicate with SAP in real time, all user level security
and auditing is preserved. The Asset Tracking Tool supports
the SAP Asset Number or the SAP Inventory Number field. Have a read of the

The Asset Tracking Tool interfaces with Oracle E-Business Suite
versions 10 and 11i. Communication to Oracle is achieved
using the real time Oracle Call Interface (OCI) technology. There
are two options for updating, using either the standard inventory tables
(FA_INVENTORY and FA_INV_INTERFACE) or a more feature rich
option.

special requirements.

Text, CSV, Excel
The Asset Tracking Tool text file interface provides communication with
Comma Separated Values (CSV) and many other text file
formats. The text file interface is most commonly used to interface the Asset
Tracking Tool software with Microsoft Excel or an asset register that
supports data export to text files and data imports from text
files. The file formats are customisable to suit the asset
register.
